Start at N = 1: compare with the previous turn, not the current one. Press Position for the same spot, Audio for the same letter. Both can match.

Try a position match and a sound match.
Play the first turn. Remember the square and letter. This is the first turn. There is nothing to match yet. What matches the previous turn? Compare the position and letter with the previous turn. Try again. Same position, different letter. A position match! Different position, same letter. A sound match!
